Ask those yourself, in a private window, in both assistants. They often name different businesses for the same question.
Where those answers come from
For auto repair shops, these are the places worth checking first:
- Your Google Business Profile, with the makes you work on
- RepairPal and AAA's Approved Auto Repair network, if you qualify
- Yelp, Nextdoor and local Reddit threads
- Your site, with ASE certifications and the makes and jobs you specialize in
"Honest" is in a lot of these questions. Reviews that say you told someone they didn't need a repair are worth more than any ad.
Five things to do this week
- Fill in every field on your Google Business Profile, including services and hours.
- Ask recent customers for reviews that say what you did for them, not just a star rating.
- Get listed, accurately, on the directories above.
- Put checkable facts on your site: licenses, years in business, the exact jobs you take.
- Ask the same questions again next month and see what moved.
